Who we are
Agent Wins (agentwins.app) is a website that lists AI agent use cases that worked, with step-by-step recipes. It's operated by Chevon Phillip ("we", "us"). If you have questions about this policy or your data, email chevy@mail.grokbot.com.
What we collect
Account details. When you sign in, our sign-in provider, Clerk, collects your email address, first name and last name. We store your plan on your Clerk account: whether you have Pro, which plan you're on, and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
Payment details. Payments are handled by Stripe. When you check out while signed in, we pass Stripe your email address and your account ID. Stripe collects your card and billing details directly. We never see or store your full card number.
Email updates. If you subscribe to email updates, we store your email address, the date you subscribed and the page you subscribed from.
Win submissions. If you submit a win, we store what you send us, including the email address you enter so we can follow up.
Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: page views, when you leave a page, and a few named actions such as starting checkout, completing a purchase, opening billing, or viewing an unlocked recipe. See "Analytics" below.
Error reports. We use Sentry to find and fix bugs. See "Error tracking" below.
Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes the technical data any website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Analytics (PostHog)
Analytics requests go through our own address (agentwins.app/ingest) and are then forwarded to PostHog's US servers. Before forwarding, our proxy removes cookies, sign-in headers and your IP address, and we tell PostHog not to record IP addresses. Autocapture of clicks and session recording are turned off.
If you're not signed in, PostHog keeps its identifier in memory only, so it's gone when you close the tab. If you sign in, PostHog links your activity to your account ID (not your name or email) and stores that identifier in your browser's local storage and a first-party cookie. Signing out resets it.
Error tracking (Sentry)
When something breaks, our server, and in some cases your browser, sends an error report to Sentry. Browser reports go through our own address (agentwins.app/api/m). Before a report is sent, we strip user details, cookies, sign-in headers, IP addresses, query strings and anything that looks like an email address, token or key. We also send Sentry timing data for a small sample of requests to help us find slow pages.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use:
- Sign-in cookies set by Clerk to keep you signed in. The site needs these for accounts to work.
- A PostHog cookie for signed-in visitors only, as described above.
- Local storage in your browser for your saved wins, whether you dismissed the sponsor banner, and a short-lived note of your sign-in and Pro status so pages load correctly.
- Cookies set by Cloudflare to protect the site from bots and abuse, where Cloudflare needs them. Cloudflare Web Analytics may count page views without cookies.
- Stripe's cookies on Stripe's own checkout and billing pages, which Stripe's privacy policy covers.
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. If you do, you'll be signed out and your saved wins will be removed.
How we use your information
We use your information to run your account, give you access to what you paid for, process payments and cancellations, handle refunds, send the email updates you asked for, follow up on submissions and sponsorships, improve the site, and fix errors. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that run the site, and only for that purpose:
- Clerk: sign-in and accounts.
- Stripe: payments, subscriptions and the billing portal.
- Cloudflare: hosting, storage of email signups and submissions, security and basic analytics.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Sentry: error tracking.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account and purchase records while your account is active and for as long as we need them for accounting, tax or dispute purposes. We keep email signups until you ask us to remove them, and submissions as long as they're useful for curating the site. Analytics and error data are kept according to PostHog's and Sentry's retention settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to remove your email from updates. Email chevy@mail.grokbot.com and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we'll honor them. You can manage or cancel a Pro subscription yourself from your account page.
Public posts we quote
Each win is based on a public post on X. We show the author's public handle, quote or summarize what they posted, and link the original. If you're an author and want an entry corrected or removed, email us. See How we verify.
Children
Agent Wins is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date. If a change is significant, we'll tell you on the site or by email.
